Schleisinger became the wife of Mr. James B. Martin, only the members of the immediate family being present. The bride was attended by her sister, Miss Flora Schleisinger as maid of honor, while Mr. J. Gregory Martin, a brother of the groom, acted as best man.
The bride looked beautiful in her traveling suit of brown broadcloth with hat to match. The maid of honor was dressed in white and wore a white picture hat. Immediately following the service the party was driven to the home of the bride, No. 1506 Ontario avenue, where a wedding breakfast was served.
The various rooms were tastily [=sic] decorated, the color scheme being pink and green.
Mr. and Mrs. Martin left this afternoon for a trip to New York, Boston, Lake Placid and other eastern points. They will be at home to their many friends after November 1st at Buffalo.
The bride is one of the most popular young ladies of the city and is the daughter of Mrs. Anna Schleisinger of No. 1506 Ontario avenue. • The following appeared on 21 July 1913 in the Niagara Falls Gazette: After almost a year of constant suffering which she bore with fortitude and bravery, mrs. Anna Schleisinger, wife of the late William Schleisinger, and a life-time resident of the city, died last evening at Mt. S. Mary's hospital.          Mrs. Schleisinger was a devout member of the German Lutheran Church and of the Martha Society. A kind, generous disposition coupled with her many other womanly attributes endeared her to those with whom she became intimately acquainted and it is this circle of sorrowing friends who will most appreciate the loss her death has occasioned.
