  • The following appeared on 19 October 1922 in the Niagara Falls Gazette: The funeral of Fred Fink, 25 years old, who died Tuesday at the Niagara County Sanitarium at Lockport, after a long illness, was held from the home of his sister, Mrs. William Skivington, No. ??? Third street, this afternoon.
         Mr. Fink was a well-known resident of Niagara Falls. About five years ago he became afflicted with an illness which finally resulted in his death. During his fight for life, Mr. Fink sought health in Arizona. For some time past, however, he had been a patient in the Niagara County Sanitarium.
         Many friends will mourn the loss of Mr. Fink. His pleasing personality won the admiration of the nurses at the sanitarium, many of whom have called to view his bier since his death. He is survived by his sister, Mrs. Skivington, two brothers, George Fink and Walter C. Fink, and two other sisters, Mrs. Clyde Haggerty and Mrs. William Webb, of Buffalo. Burial was at Oakwood cemetery.
