She was a staff librarian at Fort Monmouth and a research librarian for a chemical research firm early in her marriage. She has been active in the Women's Auxiliary to the Essex County Medical Society and is a trustee of the state association. . . .

         Mrs. Mancuso-Ungaro died Monday in St. Barnabas Medical Center, Livingston.
         She was past present of the New Jersey Hospital Association and was legislative chairman for the Auxiliary of St. Barnabas Medical Center.
         Mrs. Mancusi-Ungaro was graduated from Douglas College in 1943 with a degree in library science.
         Born in Pennsylvania, she lived in Newark and Essex Fells before moving to Montclair 23 years ago.
         Surviving, in addition to her husband, are a daughter, Mrs. Judith Buff, two sons, Allen and Philip, a sister, Mrs. Ruth Geiser, and one granddaughter.
